TERMS/CONDITIONS:

While I am eager to grow my business and serve the area to the best of my ability, I do have requirements to be met before I take on any interior/exterior combo service contract customer:

 - You must be consistently available to be on the premises or have someone open the home for interior servicing Monday - Thursday between the hours of 8 AM to 4 PM, OR be willing to provide a key. Keys will be cataloged and kept in a secure location. Exterior only services will be completed regardless of presence on site, unless you insist on being there during service. I completely understand if you are not comfortable with people in/around your home while you are away, but if you cannot fit my hours of operation into your schedule, we unfortunately will not be able to do business. Constant rescheduling or insistence upon late afternoon/early evening appointments will hinder the effectiveness of my operation. I am one man doing 100% of the work. There are other, larger companies that serve the area that may work better for your scheduling needs, albeit at a higher cost and with almost certainly a lower consistent standard of care than I would provide. Camera systems for the home that operate using Wi-Fi and can be monitored using your cell phone are so common, affordable, and easy to set up that I assume I'm on camera everywhere I go. They can give you a peace of mind that the finest locks can't, and are a worthy investment for your home security. If you can't trust me or any home service provider by word, it's worth keeping people honest with the unblinking eye of a surveillance system.

 - I require all new residential contracts to purchase a minimum of 2 external rodent bait stations, either on your own or from my inventory. Ideally, there should be at least one unit for each side of the exterior of the home. If they are purchased from me, the units cost $25 each, for a total of $50. The units I sell are sturdy, weighted plastic boxes with a cinderblock base of the highest quality that hold rodent bait. They are your first line of defense against rats or mice entering your home to forage for food and nest. Without them, rodents can damage your lawn or invade and infest your home unabated, with me now forced with the more difficult task of removing them from inside your home. If you have previously been or are currently under contract with a pest control company and have already purchased at least 2 of these stations, this fee will be waived.

FAQ:

"What is the total cost to sign up?"

 - $75 sign up fee + $50 for minimum of 2 exterior rodent bait stations (if applicable) + service fee. This total is what will be due at time of service. For example, $75 + $50 = $125. $125 + $45 exterior only special = $170. After initial startup costs, the only other fee you will ever have to pay will be the cost of your regular service, unless you elect an add on or specialized service; any of which would be provided at a discount since you are a contracted customer. There are no annual, membership, or cancellation fees. Contracts can be paused for up to 3 months in a year before they will be considered canceled, with notice. If you cancel your contract and later decide to contract again, you will be subject to another signup fee before servicing recommences. I also have an incentive program where if you recommend my company to someone else and they elect to contract with us for any service, you will receive a $10 credit on your account. No limit on referrals!

"What is my responsibility in our pest treatment program?"

 - Number one is sanitation. Proper sanitation is the single most important factor in residential and commercial pest management. Poor sanitation inevitably leads to pest issues, which will draw ants, flies, gnats, rodents, cockroaches, and many other pests. It is the responsibility of the customer to keep their homes or businesses clean with limited clutter. Clutter provides harborage for many pests, and makes issues extremely difficult if not impossible to resolve. I do not implement "spray and pray" chemical campaigns. There is always a root cause for pest infestations, and poor sanitation is the most common. That is not to say a well-kept home or business cannot have issues, because of course they can. Keeping the areas clean is paramount. If your issue is mosquitoes, eliminating any source of stagnant water around the property is step one. Treatment programs vary on a case to case basis; your responsibility as a customer will be clearly outlined when the home is inspected and issues diagnosed before contracting.

"You sprayed, but I saw a spider in my bathroom and a bug on my sidewalk!"

 - You must temper your expectations with pest control. With rodent, bedbug, and cockroach infestations, complete eradication is the reasonable expectation. You cannot and should not expect complete eradication of all insects around and inside of your property. The goal is controlling the population to an acceptable level, not killing every living insect; many are beneficial to the environment. No matter the chemical used, there will always be numbers of the population that are naturally resistant to pesticides. This is why cycling chemicals with different modes of action is so important, to avoid producing generations of resistant pests and thereby rendering treatments utilizing that mode of action ineffective. Other pests may fly or travel in from untreated areas and avoid the barrier in/around your home. Even if I were to load up 400 gallons of diluted pesticide concentrate in a crop sprayer plane and dump it on your property, you'd still see a bug here and there... Life always finds a way. There were still bugs crawling around after the Chernobyl nuclear meltdown of '86. Your spray to spray guarantee covers large numbers of pests nesting around your exterior or invading your home to forage or nest; it does NOT cover re-treatment after seeing a single ant, fly, gnat, spider or other insect after spraying.

"What pests are considered general pests?"

-Mice, ants (other than fire ants), spiders, flies, crickets, beetles, silverfish, earwigs, carpenter bees and other common household invading pests not listed as specialized service pests.

"What is the spray to spray guarantee?"

  - If I treat your home, and shortly thereafter you have any notable issue whatsoever involving a general pest listed in your treatment plan, call me and I will return to resolve the issue at no additional cost. This is referred to in the contract as a, "no-charge callback."

“Why aren't quarterly contracts covered by a spray to spray guarantee?”

  - Most pesticides break down or lose effectiveness within 60 days, particularly those applied to exteriors due to sunlight and rainfall, leaving your home completely unprotected for the last 30 days. Quarterly accounts are guaranteed for 45 days against verifiable general pest issues.

Rarely will there be a scenario where I cannot beat a competitor estimate for any general or special service. Always shop around before overpaying for any pest management service. I strive to have the most competitive prices in Southside Virginia while also delivering a higher level of transparency, care and attention than any other company can offer; with no strings attached or hidden fees.

Services I Do NOT Currently Provide:

-Termite inspections, estimates, or treatments. I am not currently certified or outfitted for this type of pest control.
